It is, and always has been, the policy of SPM to look at new technology and new processes in a positive way, this is reflected in the continued investment in all departments throughout the company.
Unlike many other printers, at SPM we see digital printing as a process to work alongside lithographic printing and not a competitor of it. We see it as another service, or option, that we can offer our customers.
We understand that it is not always economical to print some shorter run jobs using the lithographic process, to the extent where customers will sometimes decide not to proceed with certain jobs because of this. At SPM we offer the alternative of digital printing, which is a lot more economical for shorter runs. We feel that digital printing has improved immensely over recent years and is now able to produce the quality that SPM demand. awarded ISO14001 certification,
this is the highest environmental accreditation available and is recognised worldwide. - August 2007 SPM were awarded FSC certification, this is an international organisation dedicated to responsible management of the worlds' forests.
- December 2010 SPM were officially certified as a Carbon Neutral Company.
- July 2012 SPM were awarded ISO9001 quality accreditation.
- January 2013 SPM were awarded the Carbon Smart silver certification.
